 Comments (aspects and elevations of instability, etc): Confidence is low due to limited observations ... it was my first day in the area.
BOTTOM LINE
 Comments: Surprised at the extent of the problem. Have not seen such a setup at MCS since I have been skiing there (1992). Uncertain if the problem extends to elevations above 7300 feet, and if steeper + semi-alpine terrain have the worrisome weak structure I observed yesterday (new snow in the top of fragile crust above 10 cm of well-developed facets). Will tour tomorrow to higher elevations and asses instability at higher elevation avalanche terrain.
