Comments: A pair of wet days in the Sawtooths. Rain up to 8,500' on Friday. Upper elevations picked up ~2cm Friday night and lower elevations started to lock up but warm temperatures on Saturday quickly remelted the snow surface and there was plenty of glopping to be done both days. (New buzzword: "sponge duty": what the guy or gal breaking trail does when the upper bit of the snow is saturated.
