 Comments: AM clouds disappeared just after noon.

 Several Buttercup W and NW. Could not see crownlines but appeared to have run from the top at 8500'.
 Many Soldiers Alpine 2.5 N 8800-9500 See pics. E-N aspects.
 Few Peak 2/Peak 3 Area 2 A few thinner ~1-1.5' slab that pulled out on flanks of the larger slides. Might have been associated with crust and/or rain.
SNOWPACK OBSERVATIONS
 HS: n/o 
 Upper Pack: Knife hard rain crust up to 8700-8800' which thinned up to high point at 9200. Crust generally impenetrable by snowmobile. On souths above hard crust line found surface crust over 6" PP over thin cruts->2cm DF->firm (3/17?) crust. 
 Middle Pack: FC we've been looking at/made videos of around 7200' on N were moist.  
 Lower Pack: n/o

BOTTOM LINE
 Comments: Lots of activity in the Soldiers alpine but really not much other activity observed with great visibility and light today. Rained fairly high and appeared to have rained at tail end of storm. Like all other areas, saw evidence of numerous avalanches that ran mid storm. Anything below ~8800' is locked up and I can't imagine triggering anything with that hard of a crust.
