MESSAGE
 Comments: 15 degrees, scattered clouds, light winds from the south
good skiing on NW aspect off The Cross down to drainage leading to turnout on SH 75 (9200'-8300'), 20-27 degree slopes, good coverage
dug snowpit at top of the run on ~20 degree slope, 75 cm depth, 6-8 inches fluffy powder atop a more settled base, prominent faceted layer @ 20-25 cm above ground surface
surface hoar present on some shaded aspects, avoided sunnier aspects due to thinner coverage
