MESSAGE
 Comments: Did a quick pit. Found close to 5 feet total. Top 2 1/2 feet very consolidated and bonded sitting on about 6 inches of rotten faceted snow. Old rain or ?? crust under that is beginning to breakdown. About 2 feet of snow under that to the ground which is somewhat consolidated (didn't really dig into that much as we were looking for the upper layers.
Top slab layer didn't move easily on the weak layer but is still not bonded to anything below it. Slope angle was about 30 to 32 degrees. Great skiing
