Comments: Mushroom ridge has numerous cornices and windslabs built up at the top of the ridge. They are generally small. Stomping the snow near these features causes isolated windslabs to release, but they did not step down to the persistent layer or gather much speed or travel any distance due to the low angle.

The wind seems to have affected every aspect on mushroom ridge. At the saddle between the funnel and narnia, we observed cornices and wind lips overhanging both sides of the saddle/ridge. I think "swirly twirly" accurately describes the wind.

We found large and well-formed facets deeper in the snowpack from our hand pits.
