AVALANCHE OBSERVATIONS

 What Elevation?  Above 9500ft

 Comments: Observed 2 hard slab avalanches, appeared to be windslabs, triggered at high elevation on lee ward aspect at high alpine. Observed from far away, hard to tell exact dimensions. Aprox. 10” crown, 50ft wide, ran 150+ ft.
MESSAGE
 Comments: ECTP21 on 35cm layer. SE aspect at 9500ft. HS: 95-105cm. Avoided windloaded terrain & stayed out of areas with terrain traps. Cold and calm day, surprising good snow. Happy New Years!
