AVALANCHE OBSERVATIONS
 How Many?  1
 Trigger:   Unknown
What type of avalanches?   Soft Slab
 What size?
Size 2: Could bury, injure, or kill a person
 What Elevation?  Alpine
 What Aspect?   NW
Comments: SE and SW aspects of mushroom ridge exhibited similar pit results. Failed at bottom of last Sunday-Monday storm layer, roughly 14-16” down. Failed on 9 from elbow. Snowpack had 1-2” sun crust of more southerly aspects of both east and west sides. No collapsing or whumping.

More concerning was what appears to have been a natural release at tree line on W-NW aspect of Gladiator. Slide looks to have been ~100-200’ wide at crown. Seems to have ripped out along bottom edge of mid-mountain tree-line.
MESSAGE
Comments: Skied E and W aspects of Mushroom, approximately 30-degree slopes.
