Bottom Line

There is enough snow hanging in northerly terrain above ~9,000 feet to provide a potential weak layer as snow returns. Steep south-facing terrain in this area of the Smokys and across the way in the Boulders have returned to dirt.

East and northeast aspects of the Sawtooth Mountains including Cabin Peak and Snowyside Peak.
Bare dirt is the name of the game on the south, southwest and western exposures of the Boulder Mountains. Some snow is hanging in the northwest bowl of Galena Peak.
This image shows a good amount of snow lingering in north-facing, alpine terrain of the Smoky Mountains.
