This new snow has come in with such cold temps and moderate winds that it is setting up of for great skiing. No visible slides, it's just uncohesive powder over here. The weight seems to be evenly spread and the snowpack seems to be responding very well.

We've had another wave of this storm cycle and are looking good. Winds have been lighter than we are used to and the ridge-top snow is knee deep and soft. We avoided any wind loaded terrain today, but visibility was good and there were no new slides visible. Ski cutting the most wind loaded pillows caused minor cracking, but nothing more.
