The snowpack observed in the Soldier Cat Ski area is consistent with the avalanche advisories. The PWL is up a meter down in many areas and is becoming more stubborn. Yesterday while skiing with a group on a 25 degree slope it took eight people to cause the collapse. The settlement was felt more than 400 yards back up the slope.
