Observations

Out for a short skin on the road of Colorado Gulch around dusk and saw this avalanche debris on a N-NW slope underneath a wind affected ridgeline. Didn't experience or see any other signs of instability, most of the area is still a pretty shallow snowpack. There were plenty of animal tracks in the area as well as some ski tracks on adjacent slopes. Starting to get enough snow in this zone to become more cautious while out, especially on shady slopes carrying older snow.
