Observations

Remotely triggered a wind slab avalanche in an east-facing bowl from a north-facing ridge on the south side of Quigley Canyon, close to the mouth. We were on approximately a 25 degree ridge with wind scouring. Avalanche was on approximately a 35 degree slope . After triggering the avalanche, we traveled around to the bottom of the slide to look for anyone who might have been affected and saw that there were two other existing avalanches on both sides of the new slide. All three slides likely happened today (Wed.).
