A group of about 12 of us went snowmobiling out Pole Creek. While riding out I noticed shooting cracks down below me. They seemed mostly isolated, about 3 or 4 spots in one general area and each had to be around 5-10 feet at most. We tore up the meadows at the summit pretty good and definitely felt some snow settling and whoompfing so we stayed low angle. I dug a snow pit and attached a picture to this obs. We definitely identified a weak middle layer that broke out at CT 15 however the base was surprisingly sturdy and held up to all 30 taps. My fist slid easily into all layers besides the very bottom layer.
