Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Beautiful day for a ski tour! Light N winds in the morning, tapering off completely as the day went on. Some wind-affected snow higher on the ridge but we didn't see any cracking or whumfing going across harder slabs. Solar aspects were starting to heat up by 1 pm in the intense sunshine with denser pow and a few rollerballs developing. Got a good look into the west bowls of Gladiator and saw lots of wind-effect but no obvious recent slides.
