Comments:
Quigley Nordic above the Headwaters trail which overlooks main body of Quigley trails. Looks to be NE facing. Also observed avalanche that came down above the Hwy 75 trail and debris crossed trail but had been groomed out this morning. Saw 4 more slides out the last trail that makes a loop called Creekside, on the north facing aspect up in a bowl.

Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

I stayed on the groomed Nordic trails as I was skate skiing. My observations were from a distance. I ski Quigley at least 4 or 5 days a week. I like to BC ski and have been monitoring the side canyons along the south side of Quigley Nordic. One slide crossed the Hwy 75 trail and the groomers this morning had cleared it. If the AVI conditions are considerable, Nordic skiers should be cautious when skiing along steeper sloping areas.

Media

One of the bigger avalanches seen at Quigley Nordic late this morning. I was skate skiing and have been wanting to do some BC skiing in some of the side canyons. Definitely waiting until snow settles. Observed six avalanches while skiing out to the Creekside Trail which is at the end of Quigley Nordic.
