Observations

Skied mostly around 20-25 degree slope (road cut was just above 30 degrees). Snow looked like it was going to be terrible but skied OK! Have skied better, but have definitely skied worse. Tracks filled in from blowing snow within 30 min in some areas. Strong wind. Dug a pit around 8200’, E/SE aspect, 13 degree slope. Results: ECT 23 broke across whole layer at 30cm from bottom, PST 30/100 END tested at 30cm from bottom. SNPX 100cm deep, rotten faceted snow started around 30cm from bottom.
