Observations

I went to ski peak 2 and 1 of the soldiers for some mellow tree skiing. The skiing was really good some of the best tree skiing I’ve done in a while. I was really surprised skinning back up peak1 I wasn’t experiencing the whumphing I experienced in lake creek the day before I did have some whumps crossing the saddle of 2 and 1 I think it’s because the snow pack is pretty deep on the northern aspects and pretty thin near the summits. It was cloudy most of the day but it was pretty warm it did melt the snow a bit I suspect a thin melt crust is going to form especially under the trees.
