Felt like spring conditions on solar aspects in the shallow snowpack of the Pioneers - early March corn skiing! Good overnight freeze followed by warming air temps + intense sun in the morning. Observed several wet loose slides on SW aspects (primarily) that point released off of exposed rocky areas earlier this week - consistent with what's been reported elsewhere in the area. Solar aspects are melting off quick with sage starting to poke through in some areas (even above 8000').
