Comments:
Saw probably 8-10 wet loose slides on S/SE facing slopes below Heyburn around noon-3pm. Pretty frequently running and relatively small, but were encroaching on our skin track and could definitely sweep you off your feet.
None reported
We were aiming for a northern, steep run which had great, stable snow, but to our other side the wet sluffs were just sliding down towards the lake. We traveled carefully through this terrain and chose sheltered, northern aspects to ski and limited our time skinning through the problematic areas as the day warmed. The snow got progressively wet and sloppy as we finished our tour but there weren’t many significant signs of instability up there other than the occasional wet slide. Weather was calm and clear.
