General Information

Two very large, D3 avalanches released in the East Fork of the Big Wood River drainage downstream of Triumph. The slides involved multiple starting zones and ran over 2000' vertical.

Comments:

Both of the D3's involved multiple starting zones and were over 1000' wide (combined starting zones). Several smaller D2 and D1.5 avalanches released lower in the paths as well.
