Based on recent winds and this location, we're confident it was a hard slab. The depth is an estimate based on viewing the slide from several miles away. The crown appears to be 3-8 feet in places where it pulled into the cornice, but the flanks are not very tall (less than 2 feet). Unknown whether it was triggered by snowmobilers from the ridge above or was a natural slide.
