A very large avalanche occurred on a south facing slope around 9800' in the headwaters of Lake Creek. The crown is hard to follow in the photo, but appears to wrap around terrain features. Another crown is visible in the upper right hand side of the photo, which is on a west facing slope around 10,100'.
