Comments:

Buried by the wet storm at the end of February. This layer produced a portion of the avalanche activity observed in the Banner Summit area. It formed during a period of very cold, sunny, and generally calm weather. This weather generated near-surface facets on shaded aspects and near-surface facets with crusts on solar aspects (including radiation recrystallization style crusts).
