known poor structure in this zone from prior weeks obs. with recent load and hard signs did not bother with tests, don't think can outwit this one yet. keep it simple. skier triggered avalanches still likely.

ran into skier who reported was unintentially triggered yesterday 12/14 by his party while skiing off to left flank. propagated uphill few hundred feet to crown on ridge.. propagation cracks from tracks can still be seen today. |
