Mini-avalanche cycle in Croy Canyon. I saw roughly 5 to 10 decent sized (D1.5) wind slabs. They failed on a variety of aspects at middle and lower elevations.

Bottom Line

Steady loading winds caused a small avalanche cycle in Croy Canyon at middle and lower elevations. Wind slabs released on a variety of aspects from Della to Colorado Gulch, and Carbonate to Democrat.
