Snowpack Observations

The snow surface began to melt quickly once the sun popped up this morning. Snowpack remained supportable at lower elevations until around noon, when the surface crust was broken down, creating frequent trapdooring. I found excellent corn conditions above the valley bottom in the early afternoon, but I suspect this would have been unsupportable with another few hours of sun. North faces were holding great, cold snow at upper elevations.
