Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

The snowpack has settled a bit but we were still seeing a fair amount of collapsing, whoomfing, and cracking while breaking trail up the ridge. Snow remained light and fluffy in shaded areas but was starting to get a little heavier in the strong sun today despite the cold temps. I didn't see as much avalanche activity in the alpine of the Boulder Front as I was expecting given the state of our snowpack, but they're definitely were a few debris piles out there.
