Found a deeper snowpack and less cust facet sandwich than expected it was a welcome surprise.
Did find a very thin melt-freeze crust at lower elevations (below 7400) on S and SW aspects, could hear it while skiing and could barely feel it.
Snowing all day S1 to S2, found 6 inches of snow on the car (at Bull Trout turn out) after 5.5 hours of being gone. The wind was southwest moderate with some strong gusts all day, didn't see any stiffening slab or storm slab development on the lower angle leeward terrain that we skied.
