Signs of Unstable Snow

Did you see shooting cracks?

Observations

snowmobiled up the Edna Creek trail about 5 miles or so close the the weather observation equipment and saw lots of cracks underfoot and under track off trail approximately 1-2" thick. Lots of drifts wind packed snow on S/SE facing terrain. Stayed on mellow aspects
