Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Got up in the alpine hoping to hit some corn with the warmer temps. Saw plenty of wet loose activity from yesterday so we played it safe and wanted to be off the snow before things started up again. We were a bit too early…on the summit around 1pm and the top half was still pretty firm with some strong winds coming in. Lower elevation snow was delightful, looking forward to the skiing these next few weeks.
