Skied a couple laps on the Pass first thing in the morning. 4-5” of new snow fell in the previous day’s storm and did well to cover up any previous crusts with right-side up snow densities (very fluffy snow on top). Minor wind effect on isolated ridges with additional low density snow available for transport. I assume the sun got to the snow later in the day but it was skiing great early. Didn’t see any obvious signs of instability where I was.
