Watched this happen tonight. Heard breaking branches and looked to our left. Greenhorn, N facing slope to the S of the parking lot.

This persistent slab avalanche was triggered remotely from flat terrain well away from the base of the slope. N aspect @ 6,000', Wood River Valley, Greenhorn.
