Morning tour cold temps in the teens. Light to moderate winds with clear skies. Did a quick hand pit on a north facing ridge. The top 30cm was made up of 1cm of SH, then crust<1cm, re-consolidated powder 7cm then a 2cm crust, 5cm of facets, 3cm crust, another 5cm or so facets and a third stout 3cm crust. And then more facets. It was interesting to see Small areas of SH where the wind had also effected the slope as you can see in the pictures below. Did find some decent skiing on NE-E facing slopes but also came across sun crusted and wind boarded slopes.
