Comments:
There were a series of loose snow avalanches that ran in this area due to warming, but the notable feature was a slab that ran and mixed in with the loose avalanching. See the second photo and look at the avalanche furthest up the canyon.

Observations

Saw this avalanche as I was driving back over Galena last night toward Ketchum. Just caught a glimpse in the fading light and shot some pics through the binoculars.
