Observations

5-7” over night. A few inches and some wind the last few days. Since Tuesday, we have skied Jerry’s, skiers summit, bowling alley, toilet bowl and tortilla flats.

Dig two pits:
Bowling alley, ECT, no significant signs of instability, with a snow pack you could imagine, about 6 ft with obvious persistent slab issue but no results. Jerry’s pit, big dense storm/wind slab, those layers were a little reactive but persistent slab wasn’t. No red flags, cracking, settling, etc all week. Kind of surprising Although we stayed off of tortilla slide. Poked a bit over there yesterday from bowling alley, in the lower open bowls, it was glorious. Overall, surprisingly stable with the major signs. Of course the scary part of deep persistent slab. Feels that way till you hit the weak spot. Heading out for some blower pow now.

Also couldn’t see the crown on tortilla slide when we got here and haven’t seen any movement since.
