Their team can offer resources, information, and support for anyone experiencing emotional, mental, or financial hardship. Staff will help connect individuals to health care professionals including psychiatrists, physicians, licensed counselors, social service agencies, emergency services, and other resources.

A few things they can offer:

● Financial assistance for counseling, prescription medication, and other urgent needs: no formal application needed.

● Quickly match patients with a therapist who is available to support our community

● Direct referrals to additional resources depending on your unique situation, goals, and needs.

Regional/National Resources

American Avalanche Association - Resilience Project

● If you work in the avalanche industry, the AAA has a grant program for mental health services and for group resiliency training (open to professional and affiliate AAA members) as well as a mental health provider directory.

Redside Foundation

● Serves the professional outdoor guiding community in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.

● Redside Foundation offers mental health care, educational resources, and tools for financial planning and basic wellness for guides.

AAC Climbing Grief Fund

● Even if you’re not a climber, the AAC has a multitude of resources for anyone dealing with grief, loss, and trauma related to outdoor pursuits. They offer a list of trauma-informed mental health providers in several states, resources on support groups, and tools for accessing care, including financial assistance and a national help directory.

Responder Alliance

● Works with individuals and teams to train resilience in the face of long-term and traumatic stress.
