We issued a General Avalanche Information product this morning. Twice weekly General Avalanche Information products will continue through April.
If you’re sinking deep into a wet gloppy snowpack, you could trigger wet loose and possibly wet slab avalanches on very steep slopes. Wet avalanches releasing on their own (natural avalanches) are not as likely but can’t be ruled out. If the snowpack is frozen hard and supportable (even if there is a little soft corn snow on the surface), avalanches are unlikely.
